The Event shall be known as : 8th Coupe d'Europe de Montgolfières.

THE EVENT IS NOT AN APPROVED FAI FIRST CATEGORY SPORTING EVENT, NOT SANCTIONED BY THE COMMISSION INTERNATIONALE D'AÉROSTATION (C.I.A.). Approval had not been requested from the CIA, the Event beeing running at the same time of the european championship.

The Event will be held at : Mainfonds (near Angoulême) Charente - France.

I.7 DATES

The Event will be run from Thursday August 3rd to Sunday August 6th 2000.
First task will be on Thursday August 3rd.
Last task will be on Sunday August 6th.

I.8 DEPOSIT FEE S 1 An3, 8.3

THE DEPOSIT FEE TO ACCOMPANY A PROTEST SHALL BE : 400 FF.

I.9 LANGUAGE SG 3.9.5

THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGES OF THE EVENT SHALL BE ENGLISH AND FRENCH. IN ALL INTERPRETATIONS THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE VERSION SHALL PREVAIL.

I.10 PARTICIPATION SG 3.6.1

THE EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL NACS WHICH HAVE MET THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO THE FAI.

I.11 CLOSING ENTRY DATE

The entry closing date for the Event is : June 30th 2000.

I.12 RISK

The balloon and other property of a competitor shall be at the risk of the competitor at all times. By entering the Event a competitor agrees to waive all claim for injury to himself or loss or damage to his property.

I.13 INSURANCE

Each competitor shall be insured against all claims by third parties to a minimum of 5 000 000 F. He shall produce documentary evidence of this insurance valid for the period of the Event covering himself and any balloon which he may fly.
